Profile: At the tender of age of ten, the young DJ started to attract attention from MTV after starring in a video clip playing for Inner City’s world-wide hit ‘Good Life’. With music as his guide, John found the devotion and the love of his art with performances at clubs and beaches in Athens, collaborating with 3 stellar DJ’s creating their own union named ‘Oceanus’. Using genres such as rock, soul, and pop, his mixes attract the masses to engage in all senses of imagination. Finding his love for Electronica, progressive house, and trance, John took the plunge to pursue his own productions and compositions and moved to London. Point Blank leads him on his own individual path of creativity and remarkable sounds. Since then, he has been a guest DJ at Ministry of Sound, which has brought him much success. John Mig’s mixset, ‘Common Sense 2’ Live from Ministry Of Sound stunned listeners and audiences of trance everywhere by holding second position on the Global Mix chart at Mix DJ, (the number one website for DJ’s of all kinds), and first position on the Progressive Trance chart for two weeks. His mixset ‘The Ode Kazantip 2009’ one of the world’s largest Techno, Trance, and House music festivals in Ukraine, was awarded First ( No1 ) on the Global Charts Worldwide for the month of March in 2009, and has received incredible attention and favour from many voters, with massive support on Mix DJ.com. The DJing skills that John Mig has developed over the years, together with his dedication in creating a unique mixture of progressive house and trance, resulted in his latest project ‘The Art Of Music’. This project grew out of an idea conceived in the summer of 2007, set in motion in June 2009, and was instantly recognized by one of the world's favourite internet radio stations ‘Danceradio Global’. Since 2009, John has been the resident DJ of ‘Danceradio’, a station delivering high quality music that is being supported by some of the worlds most famous DJ’s including Paul Van Dyk, Mike Koglin, and Andy Duguid to name but three. Following the huge success of John's ‘The Art Of Music’, he achieved and accolade to being the artist of the month on Danceradio Global for January 2010. It seems like John's music, is a definition of progressive trance which deeply influences the crowd's feelings, inducing an altered state of consciousness, making an atmosphere dominated by electronic elements and sequences. This exact atmosphere was captured at John's gig with Sander Kleinenberg at the Ministry of Sound world tour in Ayia Napa in 2009. John's dedication and respect to music fuels his longing to give back to the masses his utmost talents and soul releasing compositions.
